TracCollar® Neck Traction Collar

TracCollar® Neck Traction Collar was developed by orthopedic engineers for comfortable, effective, daily treatment of neck injuries as well as for actually working out in a series of exercises which address the need to stretch and relax muscles slightly for the pain relief only real stretching can provide. Protecting as it works, this item is NOT for recent sprains/strains, injuries or acute conditions. It is more in line with recuperation or in long term care and treatment of the area taken with a longer view. The TracCollar measures 4.5 inches in height and inflates to 7 inches maximum. 15 pumps on either side is the suggested maximum pressure. (4.8 lbs/sq. inch of pressure on either side). The tightness insures some compaction of the muscles which then strain against the pressure very slightly, causing a modicum of stress while still achieving a stretching and relaxing goal. Pneumatic traction devices prescribed by physical therapists after an accident can be difficult and uncomfortable to use. Many uisers swear that this device reduces much of the pain and intensity of those feelings and sensations while still allowing freedom of movement.
